OH I WISH. . .

Look at what we found cruising through Boise! Yesterday the weenie mobile was at our local Albertsons. The kids got to go inside and look around and then we all had hot dogs! They even got their very own weenie whistles! It has been so fun to be on maternity leave and to be able to do these fun things just on a whim. We now have 2 family pictures with the big hot dog car! (We also got to see it when Alexa was tiny) You may notice that Steven has a big smile on his face. That's because the lady that took our picture had just said "Say cheesy weenies!" He thought it was hilarious! Fun times!

Daddy Daughter Date

Last Friday Alexa took her Dad on a date to the Idaho Steelheads hockey game. They had lots of fun! She must have been a pretty good cheerleader because they won 5-0.

Almost 3 weeks already

We sure are enjoying our little Bailey girl. She is such a sweet baby. She loves to be held, and to snuggle with Mom and Dad. Alexa and Joe think that she is so cute and love to "help" as much as they can.

Baby Glow Worm! Bailey became jaundice because her and I have incompatible blood types, so she had to receive photo therapy through a billy light. After 5 trips to have blood taken and two full days on this thing, we were ready to be done! She was pretty cute all lit up!

She was born on Feb 12 at 1:50 pm.

She weighed 7# 7oz and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Both Bailey and mom are now at home doing well.

Laci and Brock were in town this past weekend to show off their new baby boy Dallin, so we attempted some casual family pictures. Needless to say, I realize now why we don't do this very often! Joe was such a stinker, and Alexa was a goofball. Anyway, here are a few snapshots just in case you were forgetting what we look like! Happy fall!

Trapped For Good!

Now we're trapped for good! Mama has another baby in her belly! That's right; sometime around February 18th some little monster is going to join the family. We are super happy and excited!

Sunday Drive

On Sunday afternoon after church, we took a short drive out to Lucky Peak to see the water being released into the Boise River. It was amazing to see how much water was being released. The kids thought it was really cool. Alexa is looking forward to going to the beach there this summer with cousins. . hint hint!

The water was spraying 100 feet into the air!
